PIDA: I think our film industry make a film according to season. I say like that because when a company make a film especially a horror movie and it's make a lot of profit to company and our indusrty film. So when a horror movie become 'hot' the other company also make a horror movie. But this phenomena not good in our life especially in our religions because it's have a superstition element..
If you noticed some sample movie at above, you will see a horror movie will be a box office...
So ADRINA and IENA, do you agree with my opinion??
ADLINA: yes pida..i also agree with your opinion. Nowadays,many film in horror genre in our cinema. I noticed thats our community also can take this such film. But we must carefully that if this phenomenan continuosly happen,it will be a bad effect to our community such as children. For example, children will feel scared to go outside because always watch horror movie and it will be more bad if their parents cant control.
PIDA: ADLINA i agree with you opinian, but it's also will make people believe that when we use a shaman @ bomoh, our problems will solve..
Just like in movie, too many scenes that use the element of superstition and it's not good in our religions...
ADLINA: by the way, film just want to show how about our life. We know that world like a stage and all of us as a actors rights??..we must know that in our culture,many people believe in such things. Not only in Malay culture,but i believe that in Chinese and India also have their own believe about 'benda-benda halus',shaman and soo on.
ADLINA: the problem is not with the production team, the problem is with the laws and legislations... in Malaysia, theres too many legislations to follow that sometimes, the director dont have the full freedom to express their idea.. for example, we cannot show a negative character of police and politician..
have we ever seen any local movie that portrays a negative role police or politician.. theres many more actually...
technology can be excluded.. because theres lot of holywood movies that did not require a lot of graphics still they were hit.. if the story is good, the screen play is fantastic, a movie will definitely be watched by people.. =)
